Essentria’s Instructors
Meet the co-founders of Essentria!
Nikki Fraser, CAHP, Level 3 NAHA CCA
Nikki is a wife, and mother to two wonderful spirited boys, and gave birth to a beautiful surrogate baby girl in December 2017 and a handsome surrogate boy in November 2021. She loves everything with pregnancy, children and holistic health and has combined them together over her career path.
Her earlier careers include being an addictions counsellor where she supported the homeless population in finding sustainable housing in London, Ontario. She also worked in the public school system for 15 years as a Certified Child and Youth Care Worker and supply teacher. Educating and helping people has always been at her core, so when essential oils came into her life, she knew empowering others to learn about them was her passion.
Nikki is a Certified Aromatherapist Health Practitioner (CAHP), a Level 3 NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, and the founder of Fraser Holistic Health. She is trained in Aroma Massage, Aromatic Medicine, and has specialized in Aromatherapy for Pregnancy and Children. She has also taken additional training in CO2 extractions, Subtle Aromatherapy, Essential Oil Pharmacokinetics, and so much more!
Nikki is also a Massage Therapist, trained in aroma, Swedish, lymphatic, deep tissue and Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage. She is also a Certified Reflexologist, Reiki Master, Doula, and a Mindful birth instructor. She has completed Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Hypnosis certifications.
Nikki was the Education Director for the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists for 3 years, ending her term in 2022, where she helped to establish a strong and high level of education for aromatherapists Canada-wide, including updating the core curriculum and the entrance exam.
Nikki is passionate about empowering others in using holistic therapies to help support them on their health journey. She has specialized in aromatherapy for pregnancy & children. After 15 years as a counsellor and supply teacher in the school system, she left her corporate job and loves the ability to spend time with her family, while growing her home practice and Essentria Aromatherapy School.
Rachael Dean, CAHP, Level 3 NAHA CCA
Rachael loves helping people find their passion and explore natural alternatives for their health and wellness. In the summer of 2014, she was introduced to essential oils and her life path and career changed. She moved to Hamilton in January 2015 with her husband and family to focus on finding work & life balance and found essential oils to be a vital part of this journey.
Upon finishing University where she studied business and marketing, she became a successful Sales Rep for a large book printing company. Rachael’s career has spanned from book manufacturing, corporate sales, entrepreneurship and her working in her families business in the Arts with her father day to day.
She ran her own Aromatherapy practice as the founder of Happy Oils and was named the Platinum winner of the The Hamilton Spectator Readers Choice awards for the Aromatherapist category! Since opening Essentria with Nikki and Rhonda her focus is on educating new students through the school and working at her family business.
Rachael is a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional (CAHP) and also was a member of the Board of Directors with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists 2017 - 2019 (Vice President & Social Liaison Director). Furthermore, she is also a Certified Reflexologist.
Rachael’s overarching passion is working with and supporting her clients and students and overseeing the business side of things in all she does. If you follow Rachael online you can see that she can be found at the theatre at least one night a week as she has always had a love for musicals and plays (and supports her clients). If she is not at the theatre, she is hanging with her two kids and hubby; by the fire (winter), the pool (summer) or reading a book (all year long!)
